Pricing Built Around Your Project
Every project is different. Instead of publishing a fixed price list, we prepare a clear written estimate based on your goals, materials, timeline, and the exact level of support you need.
Why we work with estimates
A fixed price list works for products. It works less well for professional services, where the scope changes from one client to the next. A 20-minute conference talk and a 50-minute educational module may both involve slide design, but the hours, illustrations, language work, and delivery format can be completely different.
Our estimates reflect that reality. Once we understand your goals, audience, and timeline, we send you a written document that itemizes every deliverable and locks in a price. No surprises mid-project, and nothing you pay for that you did not actually request.
What an estimate does for you
Custom to Your Project
Talk length, slide complexity, illustration demand, language pairs, and audience all shape the work. A real estimate captures the specifics of your project.
You Only Pay for What You Need
Pre-set packages often include items you may not use. Estimates remove anything that does not apply, so you pay only for the work actually being done.
Transparent Scope
The estimate itemizes every deliverable, so you know exactly what you are receiving and what is not included.
Fixed Once Accepted
When you accept the estimate, the price is locked in. If the scope changes later, we agree on the adjustment in writing before new work begins.
Free to Request
There is no charge for an estimate. The discovery process helps us understand whether we are the right partner for your project.
Fast Turnaround
Most estimates are delivered within 24 to 48 business hours after we have enough information to scope the project accurately.
What every estimate includes
Each written estimate is built the same way, so you always know what to expect before a project begins.
How it works
Tell us about your project
Send a short description through the contact form. Existing materials such as papers, slides, drafts, or recordings help us scope quickly.
We review and follow up
We may reply with clarifying questions or suggest a brief discovery call to align on goals, audience, and timeline.
You receive a written estimate
An itemized document with deliverables, timeline, fixed price, and payment terms, usually valid for 30 days.
Accept and start
Once you accept the estimate, we send the first invoice and the project begins on the agreed date.
Frequently asked questions
Can you give me a ballpark figure before sending a full estimate?
Yes. After a short conversation about your project, we can usually share a rough range so you can decide whether to move forward with a detailed estimate.
What if I only need a small piece of work?
We work on small jobs too, including a single reel, a short translation, one slide redesign, or a specific document. The estimate process is the same, only briefer.
Will the final invoice match the estimate?
Yes. The accepted price is fixed unless you ask us to change the scope. Any scope change is agreed in writing before we proceed.
What payment terms do you offer?
For one-off projects, payment is typically 50% on acceptance and 50% on delivery. For monthly retainers, we usually bill at the start of each month.
What currency do you bill in?
US dollars by default. We can issue invoices in other currencies on request, converted at the day-of-quote exchange rate.
What if my timeline is very tight?
Rush projects are possible. Estimates for deadlines under seven days may include a surcharge, always disclosed upfront.
Tell us about your project
Requesting an estimate is free. Send us a short description and any existing materials, and we will take it from there.
